Season 1 was my first ever venture into the world of comics. I've always liked reading comics and manga, but I never tried making one myself. I did took creative writing as my major during college but I realized that writing novels and scripts wasn't exactly my strong points.

 

During those times in college, I felt so stressful and depressed. But then one day, I discovered Sky. My first experience with the game was amazing and something I wished I could experience it again. I don't usually interact with people online but the people I've met in Sky some ended up becoming my friends. It was a warming experience and that ended up helping me with the stress.

One day, I thought about making comics since it's more fun for me to draw stories than simply writing them. I also realized that there was a lack of a story in Sky. Sure, there's plenty of lore to discover and theorize (much of it is from the spirits and the environment), but that's just it. So I decided to make my own spin and created the first ever chapter titled: "I Love Krills".

I think of Season 1 as more of a practice run. It was a way to assess my drawing skills and see what can I do to improve it. Most of the chapters revolves around my experience playing the game. Also, everything has a simple design; the characters, the background, even the story.

By the end of Season 1, I was getting good at drawing and managed to build more confidence, which motivated me to make more chapters in Season 2.
